Budget and Cost Implications

We were extremely fortunate to have such a talented photographer Sharon McCreedy, donate her time free, and she was also kind enough to have the pictures mounted and framed as a donation. There are colleges now who with new technology can assist local community groups with photography lessons and picture development so seek partnership with a local Institute of Technology.

Project Event

The project ended with an exhibit of their work. We were extremely lucky to have a very talented lady take this group – she had all twelve of their pictures framed and mounted. The exhibit went on to be shown all around the county for the next year.

Project Outcome

It proved to be extremely successful in developing a new skill and harnessing their creativity, it also gave them a sense of ownership and perspective on their surrounding community.
